Music & Visual Clubs

Arts education can play a critical role in students’ expression and growth. Teaching them techniques and giving them opportunities to create art allows students to explore their emotions as well as their own identity in ways that analytic concepts are not always suited for. Our clubs provide a safe and inviting place for students to engage in the arts in a variety of disciplines.

  • Book Club is open to students in Grades Kindergarten to 2 who love to read. Students further develop their reading skills and encounter new stories together.
  • Guitar Club welcomes students in Grades 3 to 8 who wish to learn how to play guitar. New techniques are taught as the students successfully expand their repertoire.
  • Choir Club is open to students in Grades 3 to 8 who are interested in music. They hone their vocal and musical skills by learning and performing choral arrangements.
  • Culinary Club provides a space for students in Grades 4 to 8 to develop the vital skills of food preparation and kitchen competency.
  • Drama Club enlists students in Grades 5 to 8 with an interest in theater and the dramatic arts. These students learn about the various techniques and roles that go into a successful production through first-hand experience. They produce our annual shows.
  • Journalism Club offers opportunities for students in Grades 5 to 8 to explore journalism. They learn about the process of crafting well-written articles, and explore the realities of the journalism field by writing their own pieces.
  • Chamber Singers is open to students in Grades 6 to 8 who are dedicated to music. Students learn and perform numerous choral arrangements that further their knowledge and challenge their range so that they develop new skills.
